Okay I have an interesting theory about DDC (Doki Doki Literature Club): Nobody is the bad guy, the game itself is. Every girl that becomes the leader is aware they're inside of the game, so none of them can really escape it. They just want to interact with someone real, to see the real world, but the game is holding them back.
