Nvidia Icon Missing From System Tray
I had the same issue with Avira (free ed.) for 2-3 weeks now.After trying almost everything, yesterday as THE last option (I've even thought to move to another AV!) I've installed Avira Connect (i.e. Aviraenavwsd.exe or aviraenavprodlwsd.exe) posted here and the icon it's back where it belongs! In task manager the process for that Connect thing it's Avira.SystrayStartTrigger.exe.Maybe this would help u too.And this is the new 'Connect' thing looks like:And here is the icon on it's place.
Network Tray Icon Missing
On a recent fresh install of Windows 10 I found that I had the NVIDIA Control Panel in my system tray. It used to be easy to remove by deleting it from startup but things have changed and it’s not there anymore but good news, it’s easy to hide still.Just right-click almost anywhere (on your desktop if you're having trouble) which opens what is called the “Context Menu”. You will see “NVIDIA Control Panel”.

Click on that.Now just hover your mouse over “Desktop” and uncheck “Show Notification Tray Icon” and it will now be gone from the tray. Optionally you could uncheck “Add Desktop Context Menu” which is why I explained what that is above.You can also confirm this in your Control Panel.
For Windows 10 you want to go to 'Start, Settings, System, Notifications & Actions, Select which icons appear on the taskbar'. While you’re there, you might even hide anything else annoying you.
Those guys should be able to help you work through your issue. The 'CA public key patching routine failed' error is related to the CNC Online launcher, and has nothing to do with the patch.What error do you get when you install the 1.12 patch from cnc labs?
